Our Border Collies for Sale are all working stockdogs. We may occasionally have Border Collie Puppies for Sale. Our working border collies are used on the farm to help with the sheep, goats and cattle. Some of them also compete in sheep, goat and cattle dog trials. Being located in the central Texas area near the Dallas / Ft. Worth metroplex allows us the opportunity to offer Dorper Sheep for Sale and Border Collies for Sale in Texas as well as all surrounding states including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. We purchased Dru at 4 months of age. She was bred to work and has since the week we brought her home. Dru began her trialing career at the Ft. Worth Stock Show just a few days after turning 1 year old. She quickly progressed through the novice, ranch and open ranch divisions in sheep and the novice cattle division. She is currently trialing in the Open sheep division and Pro-Novice cattle classes. We're looking forward to more years of trialing and work with Dru. Some of her trial highlights can be seen on the Stockdog Trials page. ** Dru was bred to Sam (Hayre Ranch / Bud Boudreau) in February and had 2 male puppies on 4/8/09. Colt is our pup from this breeding and we are looking forward to his progress as he gets older. Watch for updates! **

Queen began her trialing / work career as a cattle futurity dog. When we got her she started on sheep and advanced at a fast pace. Although retired from trialing Queen is still one of the "go to" dogs at home. She is a hard worker and is invaluable around here with both the sheep and cattle. Her presence is noticed immediately by all types of livestock. She will go to the head and heels. Ewes with lambs are moved easily by Queen. Please check the Stockdog Trials page for some of Queen's accomplishments in the trial world. **UPDATE** Queen had 1 litter of puppies sired by Cliff. Like Queen, Cliff will work all types of livestock. He will also go to the head and heels and doesn't have any trouble moving sheep, goats or cattle. Cliff is a grandson of Hatsoff Bill on the top out of a daughter of Dwain Thompson's Tee (USBCHA Open Cattle Dog Champion). Puppies were born in January 2010. We kept Zip so watch for updates as he gets older.
