Currently our flock of ewes consists of purebred Dorper ewes which were originally obtained from Stone Axe Farm and some percentage Dorper ewes which we have raised. All of these ewes are easy to handle and good mothers. They often produce twins and occasionally a set of triplets.

Our purebred ewes are traditionally Dorper colored with white bodies and black heads. The percentage ewes have more black on their bodies. When this group of ewes is bred to our full-blood Dorper ram the lambs produced are purebred Dorpers and percentage Dorpers. Please visit the American Dorper Sheep Breeders' Society website at http://www.dorper.org/ for more information about Dorper sheep. We are current members of this association.

Most of the ewes last lambed in October, 2009. The ram will be put in with the ewes in April so lambs should start arriving in September. Please see our Sheep for Sale page to see what Dorper sheep for sale we have available now.
